    Velasco Sauce Recipe?

I still haven't found the recipe. Thanks for the link Andy but that's not it. This one was full of all sorts of peppers and had almost a creamish tan color to it. I'm thinking about just calling the restaurant to see if they'll share the ingredients.

    Velasco Sauce Recipe?

My husband and I recently went to Chicago and ate at Rosebud's on Taylor. I still can't forget the velasco sauce and would love to make it at home. Does anyone have a recipe for this?

Garlic Beef And Green Bean Stir Fry

I know this is an older recipe (and I haven't been around in ages) but it's definitely what's for dinner here. Now I can clean my oven because I don't need it for dinner tonight!!!!

    Chicken

This recipe is super easy. Not very healthy, but easy and quick and pretty tasty. Dredge chicken breasts in butter. Coat in crushed up Cheez It's. Bake in 325 degree oven for one hour.

    Dinner - Thursday 7th June.

It's Karate night here which means DH and DD mow the grass while I take DS to class. My time to read or go to the grocery store. We'll be having Spaghetti Pie with leftover spaghetti and salad in shifts.

    Dinner Today? 5/24

We're having spicy lime grilled chicken. I put it in the marinade this morning. I made a red skinned potato salad last night and am planning to stir fry some snow peas. We may just eat at the picnic table in the yard too. It's so gorgeous in the evenings here right now!

What's For Dinner Friday May 11th

It's way too hot to think about cooking today and being it's almost Mother's Day I'm taking it easy tonight. I'm going to make some egg salad and everyone can decide on whether they want crackers or bread.

    What is this?

Hmmm, I don't think it's pasta. It's sold with the peppers in the Mexican produce section of the grocery stores around here. I'd do a little more research before I tried to make it a pasta dish (though it does look and feel like pasta). If I make it to the store today, I'll find the name and...

Foil- shiny side up or down?

I can't remember the name of the show on The Food Network but the guy that hosts it Alvin Brown (?), same guy that does Iron Chef did an experiment with it once. He concluded that it makes no difference which side is up/down. Now, if anyone can think of the name of that show you'll win the prize...

    What's for dinner Friday, January 12, 2007?

I'm making a pot of Hamburger Vegetable Soup and a nice loaf of bread to go with. I've had tonsilits all week so hopefully this will hit the spot now that I finally feel like eating. Then, we're dropping the kids off at Pop and Nana's for a much needed break. I don't know who needs it more, the...

We're doing the Mexican London Broil tonight. DH decided yesterday afternoon to start ripping our half bath apart so we had take out.

    Etiquette Part 2

I can only assume that this comment was directed at me because I was the last poster. I fail to see where I (or anyone else) implied that this is so. I don't think it matters where you eat at all. In fact, my son's table manners are horrendous (which is something we're working on constantly). I...

    Etiquette Part 2

We do a bit of both. I would say four times a week my table is properly dressed and the other three are either eating out or grab your food from the kitchen and cop a squat. We always eat together as a family at the table though. With a nearly eight year old it's the only opportunity to really...

I stand corrected. I just watched their video and GB is totally right. It is all prep, no cooking involved. I'm rethinking this now.

    Dream Dinners/Super Suppers

From what I have read some of the meals are cooked and some are raw. I wouldn't want to cook a steak there and warm it up later at home KWIM? I think that many of the meals are partially cooked, for example, with a pasta dish the sauce would be cooked but the pasta wouldn't be. I'm going to...
