Yum, PA. This looks sooo good. Have to give this a try very soon. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us.
I was looking at a recipe for Apple Meatballs (as an appy). Think I will incorporate some of your ingredients into this one. See what you think.
• 1 lb ground beef chuck
• 1 lb ground pork sausage
• 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
• 1/4 cup finely chopped, peeled apples
• 1 tsp. dried sage, crushed
In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Form into 1 1/2 inch balls. Arrange in a shallow baking pan. Bake in oven 20 to 30 minutes at 350F. or until done (160 degrees F.). Drain and serve warm.
Can also be served with a brown gravy and noodles or rice as an entree.
servings: 10 to 12 appetizer
