That looks like a bit of work, but also looks like something worth doing every now and again.
I wasn't crazy about the waffle hasbrowns idea that was posted a while back. The waffles came out too crispy. But the cheese-mac waffles look like they might be a winner, especially with the maple syrup.

I'm going to give it a try soon. Make the mac and cheese in the morning, chill and that night make the waffles and ladle over some chili. A favorite around here is chilimac. This looks like a new and tasty way to serve it. I'm not so enthused over the maple syrup idea.
