Since Christmas comes on a Sunday this year and we'll all be in Church tomorrow we did our Chrismas feasting today. As a result I've been cooking since 6:00 this morning :chef:

I had the bright idea that it would be nice for the family to awake to the smell of yeast risen doughnuts cooking. One set back after another and I was an hour behind schedule, so the family awoke to the smell of doughnuts rising in the oven ha ha.

After this it was Gentlemen, start your ovens, and off to the races we went.

At one point the power-grid overloaded and blacked out the neighborhood for just a few minutes but thank goodness for gas stoves.

After cooking 1 ham, 1 turkey, 2 pans of dressing, 2 pies and all the trimmings we finally ate about 2:30 this afternoon.

The kitchens a disaster area but I'll deal with that tomorrow (or Monday). Right now I'm going to curl up with a warm TV and fall asleep on the couch while waiting for Santa Clause

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza & God Bless
