Stray Thoughts
Vit mentioned it would be nice to have a place to post thoughts, ideas and such that don't quite fit anywhere else. Things that don't need a separare thread but would be cool to post. That's what this thread is for, those stray thoughts that want to wander somewhere. Enjoy!

Why is it that we drive on parkways but park on driveways?

thanks, pag.:) once in a while i get a real powerful craving for cantaloupe. when that happens, i end up eating a whole lot of cantaloupe, one right after another for weeks on end. then i'm okay for months again. right now is a bad time for cantaloupe cravings though, with the cantaloupe ecoli recall happening and all. i know i won't be buying cantaloupe now for a very long time, cause i know me and i just won't trust them. i'm still leery about baby spinach, and that was years ago. what i need is to come up with a substitute for my current craving; and honeydew just won't do it for me...

Why do we expect so much of others when we give so little of ourself?

i'm quite sure i don't like the new x factor show, but there has been some mind blowing talent here and there, definitely worth watching. phenomenal singers of all ages - 12 and up. paula is still as kooky and inappropriate as ever, bless her, and simon has shed most of his edgy appeal, so boring. humanizing simon is a mistake i think. imo this show is way too long and gimmicky.

I'm still trying to get over the two-faced cat I saw on TV Tuesday night.

why do people think they know you, when they base it on age or apparel?
