This was in a news letter I received from DC back in December. I had just gotten back from Kauai, and eaten lots of pineapple. I forwarded the recipe to my friend whom I went with. She made this pie.. And let me tell you it was outstanding!!! If you like apple pie you will like this pie! I think it would be a good dessert for a spring or summer BBQ.
This is a very good pie!

sounds wonderful. I do enjoy fresh pineapple but never had the pie.
