Dalek Cakes

Hi

For those who know and don't, Dalek are a common enemy from the tv show of Dr. Who. They are single mind mutant monsters incased in a robot. I have decided to bake a cake of them for the exterminating goodness. I plan to use the Emporer Dalek for the design and need help in the structure.

For the center I plan to use cake as the base. For the conection to the leg, perhaps a chocolate straw or other form of chocolate. Now for the individual legs, I am not sure. I might use marshmellow squares and shave them to the require length.

For the design and details, I am at ablank

Any suggestions would help

There's a lot of different photos of the Emperor Dalek out there, and the one you posted isn't very easy to figure out what's going on with it. This thing isn't just the normal Dalek with the big head, is that right? Do you have a drawing of how you want the cake to end up looking?
