Ice Cream with Strawberries and White Balsamic

Last night we were all having our ice cream dessert - DH had his Soy version of vanilla ice cream with strawberries and GF (gluten free) cinnamon cookies. Dad had No Sugar Added (NSA) version with strawberries and NSA ice cream wafers.

Me? Here's the kicker! I had some really rich wonderful vanilla ice cream I made the day before with strawberries, and.....white balsamic vinegar, just a bit splashed over all. It was absolutely decadent. I have made a strawberries and regular balsamic topping (with a little brown sugar) for cheesecake, but this was just divine!

Almost makes me feel bad for Dad and DH.....almost!

Actually I meant this as a serious thread but kinda ruined it didn't I?

The rich custard ice cream, fresh strawberries and light balsamic are just an awesome combination.

Maybe I should claim if for my own. Yeah, Beier's Berry Basamic Ice Cream Sundae!

Thanks chef k and Bilby! It really is incredibly delicious - but you want a really rich vanilla ice cream to match the balsamic.
