Hello from Virginia

Hello to everyone, I am living in Virginia and I love to bake bread. I am currently looking for any guidance and pointing in the right direction. I just turned 57 on Monday and I enjoy life. I work full time for the VA hospital I'm married to a wonderful man from England and I have two grown sons from my first marriage and one beautiful grandson. I love to bake bread more than anything, and my love for it just seems to be growing. I am working on setting up my second career for when I retire, so I am hoping to get my kitchen certified just for that reason. I love to make friends, so I am looking forward to getting to know some new people through this forum.

Welcome to D.C.!

I used to be a racist, but I don't have much interest in it since Dale Earnhardt got killed.
Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.
Good judgement comes from experience; experience comes from bad judgement.

Hi Jackie. Welcome. We are all friends here. Glad you could join us.
No matter where I serve my guests, it seems they like my kitchen best!

Hello and a big welcome to DC
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt

Welcome to DC Jackie! Which hospital in Virginia? Hampton, Richmond or Salem? I live in Newport News and know some folks who work at the Hampton VA hospital. I think you'll like it here. Lots of good folks and good food and good laughs.
I could give up chocolate but I'm no quitter!
