Smile I'm new

Hi everyone! I just joined and it looks like this is the place to go to introduce myself. I am hoping to find people who know how to cook for 2 young old people, especially healthy foods and vegetarian style.

Welcome to DC!

I'm not sure what your girls and you enjoy, but I've recently been making these green beans that I found on this other website. Here are the step-by-step instructions. They are completely yummy!

Please share what things you come up wtih.

A little bit Ginger. A little bit Mary Ann.

Oh, Kay... what is a young old person. I have ideas! If you're in MN on the MS, and vegetarian (or even just prefer to use veggies), right now, before it gets too cold, which is supposed to start tomorrow, buy a lot of veggies and light some coals. Coat the veggies in olive oil & your favorite seasonings, and grill them all. Chop. Yumm. Makes a great basis for bean, lentil, and split pea soups. Take advantage of the end of season veggies. But I will move over to the vegetables part of this and we can continue. Welcome to DC.

Welcome to DC...what do you mean by young old people...? As in half your mail is from AARP now?
