I notice in some threads they start with iso or sos. I mentioned that one help project is for tonight and when it got moved the moderator attached sos to it so i am assuming those have to do with some sort of urgencies.

Are there other abbreviations we should know

Rocky, yes SOS is a traditional call for help. ISO stands for "in search of," which is a shorter way to phrase a question in a thread.

This question has come up before. I believe one of the moderators created a thread of all the abbreviations that we use. I may be mistaken.

Does anyone know where this thread is located?
