I am very particular about my good knives. I don't trust anyone or anything when it comes to my knives.
It is a simple thing to clean them, dry them and put them away safely.
Just MHO.

I wash my knives by hand and store them on a magnetic tool bar on the side of a cabinet. Never put them in a drawer were they can bump each other and I also do not like knive storage blocks.

handwash is better because when you use the dishwasher..its posible that the blades coming to the steel of the dishwasher or other knives and that makes your knives very blunt.
