Freezing roasted garlic
Hi. I am wondering if anyone has ever tried freezing roasted garlic in olive oil. Do you think it would safe to try? Julie

I haven't...Usually just moosh it up and add them to other dishes.
But I like the idea of it..I think it would be safe if it's taken out of the skin, made into a paste.
Mini tart pans would work well for easy measurement.Pop out what you need..Just an idea.

I'd freeze the roasted garlic without the oil.

I freeze garlic all the time, but don't use the oil. If thawed garlic and oil becomes a breeding ground for botulism toxin.

Tried this
I tried this and didn't care for it. I pureed it in a little olive oil, I think its to mild for my taste. Julie
