I recently had the late season reisling from Hogue, a Washington state winery. It was really good. Just wanted to put the word out. I don't remember the year off the top of my head, but I think it was 2009...

It was sweet, and had no wine aftertaste (which I can't stand, and has made me very slow to enjoy wines (and I still can't drink reds)).

Buonasera Dan,

Thank you for publishing your latest tasting revelation ...

I enjoy lovely Citrus Dry Rieslings from Alsace here in Italy and Spain.

Unfortunately, there are very very few Washington State exported Wines in the Mediterranean.

However, Spain and Italia also grow Riesling.

I am in the middle of packing as I am heading to Puglia next weekend, and The Vet is going on a business trip to Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil on Monday; however, next week, I shall give you the names of a few I have had here.

Thanks for the vaulable information.
Margaux.
