The plan is Pan fried smoked ham steak, baby spinach and baby kale fried in ham drippings and mashed potatoes.

Pizza, at the pizzeria. We clean the whole kitchen today, the big clean, before rot month. So I didnt want to do dishes at all... or even be in the kitchen so Pizza for us.

Craig made beef cashew stir fry, onions, red bells, carrot, bean sprouts, with jasmine rice. Edited to add shitakis, forgot them.

We were very boring again, he had fried porkchops and a baked potato, I had grilled mesquite chicken with a small sweet potato. Stupid gallbladder

I've come down with a heavy cold and didn't feel like cooking much so I made SO and me a frittata with mushrooms, scallions, red bell pepper habanero cheese, cheddar and pepperoni.

Oh no! Make something super spicy and sweat it out. I hate colds and I feel so bad for you :(

Change of plans.

Glazed mini meatloaf (glaze: ketchup, mustard, Frank's hot sauce, brown sugar, BBQ rub, red wine vinegar), microwave steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes and mushrooms (my all purpose seasoning, powdered sour cream, freeze dried chives, salt and ground pepper and extra virgin olive oil).

We had mashed potatoes with butter, corn on the cob and oven fried pork chops. For a dessert our great granddaughter made us some peanut butter cookies. She is only 4 and she did a great job.

That sounds so good... mashed potatoes with butter. I had a sweet potato with butter, not the same!

MsMofet, that looks so good!

I had a cod filet, baked in the toaster oven with simple seasonings of s and p, and topped with a couple of lemon slices. Small salad for a side, and a tall glass of iced tea.

I'm so over this 110+ heat - seems like forever since I've been willing to stand outside on the patio and grill a nice cut of BEEF. :yum: Some of the pictures here on the dinner threads have inspired me lately though, so I think I'll go out tomorrow and get a nice rib eye. :chef:

Shrimp tacos with a mango salsa...

Ross

This sounds delicious! :yum: I love shrimp tacos. Do you have a bottled mango salsa that you use and recommend (I've had a couple of good ones, but can't remember the brand), or did you make your own?

GG had a really good sounding homemade mango salsa - I'll need to look that up.
