This is tomato porn! I'm so jealous!! I've got 'maters in my yard, but something is getting to them before I do, the little buggers. I live on the coastside and really have no business even trying to grow them, but every year, I buy the ones that promise to grow in cool weather, blah, blah, blah. I hope I can get even one this year. This year's plants are container cherry tomatoes, kind of like Sweet 100s. At least the critters are enjoying them and they eat them very green, so I doubt any will survive for us humans to enjoy.Oh yeah....I ate the tomater (half anyway - lol) with some fresh mozzarella and basil. What a treat! I love how the beefsteaks are so fleshy. I told the DW that if I had some toast, it could easily be dinner.
What kind of tomato is that Jeekinz? It looks like a brandywine--they are gigantic and come on huge vines!
Jeekins, sorry I tried to hone in on your spotlight with my pepper. I really DO like your tomato, counter and your dog (love spaniels).
