We always have always got lots of apples from our trees in fall so after bags of chips, jars of sauce, and gallons of cider. I still have apples.
I want to try canning some pie filling, not so much for pies but, for things like french toasts, hand pies and stuff like that. Does this take some extra processing and stuff? Also is it worth it to do that work?
