I have a round loaf of chocolate cherry bread from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor. I want to make bread pudding with it. My question is do I have to make a chocolate custard or just a normal one because I already have the chocolate cherry bread.
I have made this with Aldi's Chocolate Brioche bread, using my regular custard recipe.. The chocolate in the bread was enough.. Other breads might need enhancement, I don't know that.. Perhaps it comes down to personal preference..
