By golly, on further review I now think this is it, and it's in the same location as it's been for many years. I had forgotten it was indeed on Guy St.,


It does appear though, if memory serves me right, they have done away with the basement doorway entry to the 'cave' that used to be, and had access gained through the main doorway to the building, up a few steps.


Alas though, it seems it has recently been permanently closed, this after at least 45 years in existence.

I remember enjoying a few good meals at this restaurant. However, I don't recall it's being so expensive when I was there. Even in Canadian dollars!

We went there with my mum after our wedding in July of 1997. I was not impressed with the service. I'll admit the food was good, but it was definitely overpriced, even back then. I have not had the urge to go back.
