Monday's Kitchen Effort - 7/12

Sausage & Peppers, diced roasted Turnip, Buttered Carrots & Pearl Onions, a little Horseradish......

Not planning a kitchen effort tonight. I couldn't motivate myself, so we are waiting for a delivery of burrito bowls.

Asian appy plates tonight.

Tuna sushi kushi, basically tuna tartare.
Beef tataki.
Shrimp, carrot and cucumber salad with a spicy honey dressing.

Chicken sandwich on scali bead along with egg and lemon soup.

We had bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwiches on home made toast, and a few potato chips.

Pan fried skirt steak and steamed white corn.

Pork chop marinated in Italian dressing, mashed potatoes doctored up with sour cream and bacon bits, sliced cucumber and tomatoes, medium peach.

Looks good, sounds good ... now I'm hungry all over again



My rendition of Beef Broccoli, with some additions
Sweet Baby Bells and Sweet White Onion all served with
that ever present steamed White Rice.

I pulled the last bag of four stuffed cabbage rolls from the freezer and heated them up with extra crushed tomatoes. Served that up with mashed spuds, fresh corn off the cob, and steamed broccoli.

It was HOT yesterday. I was glad I had poached some chicken breasts the other day to use for making curried chicken salad with a chopped apple, raisins, celery and cashews. DH loves either bruschetta or caprese salad this time of year. Bruschetta with freshly made basil pesto from the garden won the day.
