I didn't know idea what to cook for lunch today.
So I thought about opening the fridge and using the things that were there.
I found these ingredients: fresh tomatoes, anchovies, capers, pitted black olives and pine nuts.
well! I had inspiration unforsely: sauce !!
So I took a no stick pan and poured in it olive oil, a clove garlic, anchovies and browned everything for two minutes.
After I added fresh tomatoes remowed of the skin, pin nuts, pitted black olives , capers and some water.
I Simmered everything.
Finally I poured in the sauce the pasta cooked to tooth.
When the only foods you have gives you the recipe!!:
 
Most of us do what you did with your lunch. We call it a "cleaning out the fridge" meal. We have several things that could be used for a meal, including that pesky black truffle that seems to know no end.:ermm:
 
My Sundey lunch

I want to share with you my Sunday lunch.
I had lunch with my parents so I thought to cook only things that they like.
For appetizer I made a mix of bruschette/ hot toasted bread ; some with thin slice lard of Colonnata on the top and others with chopped tomatoes, garlic and oregano.
Then I made a mix of homemade sliced : ham, sausage, goat and sheep cheese.
As first dish I cook homemade noodles seasoned with sausage sauce.
As second disc I choosed to cook in the oven leg of lamb with potatoes.
Finnaly, tiramisù and mandarin orange for fruit.
Drinks: still water and red homemade wine.

Your lunch sounds great! It takes me back to vacations in Europe. I did not get to try Lardo di Colonnata in Italy. I didn't know what it was when I was there. Now I do, and wish I would have known to try it.

Hello Laura! I too live in Italy - but that doesn't stop me coming to Discuss Cooking for help and advice. This is a very well organised newsgroup, and I'm sure you'll enjoy being a member. Provided we are courteous, we can 'chat' about food, and, backstage, other topics as well. It's great!
