We had duck eggs, bacon and wholewheat miche (rustic round loaf) toast for supper. I didn't forget to take pix. I accidentally left my phone upstairs and it seemed like more effort than it was worth to go back upstairs so I could take pictures. It was very good. I'm not convinced that duck eggs are much different / better than hens eggs, when the hens had a chance to eat bugs and whatever. But, we did enjoy that supper.

I made Irish Beef Stew and mashed potatoes. It was very good and DH appreciated it too. We had dessert earlier in the day! Birch Beer floats with homemade vanilla ice cream. DH wanted root beer floats, but when we went to make them, we noticed he grabbed birch beer instead. Neither one of us had ever had it. The taste is very similar to root beer, but maybe not as "creamy," on the tongue, if you know what I mean?
