I had a bean & ham soupish sort of thing over rice that that I made last night. It was just an experiment to see if the dry pinto beans would get as soft as canned. I would say it was a success. Simple and tasty!

I had leftover brisket that I heated up in the gravy, then put on rye bread with caraway seeds.....some yellow mustard.....and a diet coke

Toasted bread with rosemary seasoned ham,lettuce, and just some butter.
Back to Trader Joe's for more of this ham,. It's delish.

I whipped up some broccoli cheese soup with some artisan kaiser rolls to sop up. Tonight at work, I will have a half serving of the soup and an Italian/Asian fusion of a chicken and noodle casserole with odd veggies.

I'll let you know about the chicken casserole!
