As much as I hate living in the city and would love to live on a farm, there are some major advantages in the city. One is the medical care available around the clock. At the Boston Medical Center there is a speciality doctor available for any medical need you may have around the clock. I can name immediately five very large hospitals all within 20 minutes of where I live. They are all teaching hospitals. If a patient needs a certain procedure, the top doctor from any of the hospitals can be called on, or the patient can be transferred to the hospital that the specialist is associated with. I am so grateful that I live in Boston at this present moment. My daughter is getting care from some of the top oncologists in the world. Boston has become the cancer center and patients from all over the world are sent here for care and diagnosis.
If I could I would send you a team of doctors right now. There are enough doctors in this city that they wouldn't even be missed. And if that didn't work, then I would fly you here in a heartbeat. The waiting and not knowing can bring on a lot of stress. If they send you home, get plenty of rest and don't go back to work. Take some time for yourself. You deserve it. We need to keep watching you succeed in your battle of losing weight. We are your willing and caring cheering section.
You are still in our prayers. Please keep us informed as to how you are doing. It is not that we are being nosey, but that we all care very deeply. You are an integral part of this forum, and it wouldn't be the same without you. You are part of this very large family. A very much needed part. And we all love you.
