    Granulated Gelatin Question

    Hi all, I am making a chocolate mousse and have a recipe calling for gelatin leaves, but can only fine granulated gelatin in the store. If I need two sheets for the recipe, can anyone tell me how to convert this to the granulated type? Thanks so much!

    Cleaning a cast-iron pan

    Rice Pudding

    I just made some rice pudding today - I def prefer the stove-top cooking method.. recipe is: 3 cups milk, 1/3 cup long grain rice, 1/4 cup sugar, tsp vanilla....optional you can add some raisins, and cinnamon or nutmeg... i don't really care for either so... basically you just heat the milk up...

    What is your favorite convenience food shortcut?

    I tend to use frozen veggies when I need a quick side dish in a pinch... like peas or corn. Sometimes I buy the "stir-fry" mix to make over rice, just cause I like the baby corn!

    Instant coffee?

    I have to drink decaf because I am breastfeeding, but the instant works great if I want to use milk instead of water, then it's like an instant latte. Not too bad tasting I don't think!

    Nutella chat

    Grew up eating Nutella! My parents are from Italy and I never realized other Americans had never heard of it until I got made fun of in middle school for having a Nutella sandwich for lunch :-( Those same people are raving about it now!!! :-P
