Hi guys ,Just wanted to share with you bout my new yoghurt maker, works a treat and you can make as much as will fit on the bed.Yes,it is the electric blanket with the covers pulled up over the top of the casserole dish that I use for the container...simply brilliant and works everytime:wink:

Hi guys, my daughter wants to make and decorate her own wedding cake .Wondering how hard or easy is it to do? The whole marzipan and icing thing.

mmmmmmmmmmm ...yummm.Tried some chuck steak,onion,stock cube, carrot,tomato and worcestishire sauce...turned out great.I will have to get some other ideas on what to cook in it now. Thanks once again.

Hi guys, I have a dutch oven that for the most part has been sitting outside with a layer of rust cos I didnt know how to use it .I have since cleaned it and seasoned it but still not too sure whether to use it in my oven or do you just use it with coals.I am not too sure about using the latter...

thanx wasabi,i use a lot of sweet potato because they have a low glycaemic index. I thought they were like normal potatoes and not freeze too well...shall definitely try this cos sweet potatoes get very expensive in the off season in australia.

thought you guys might like this idea although im sure that somebody already knows it. I like to partly cook the potatoes in the mivrowave then place them on non stick cooking paper in the baking pan.Spray with cooking oil on all sides then bake as normal......Nice and crisp and do not stick.

thanx haggis. you are right apple and rhubarb is certainly the way to go...dont have any growing at the moment (rhubarb that is) :(

anybody got any good apple crumble recipes? went out to dinner saturday night and had best apple crumble ever....apple slices were in layers and not pre cooked so that they werent over cooked mmmmmmmmm
