Thanks. What I had of it was very good!
I'm not really sure. There was some charcoal in there when I started. I fired up the old, and dumped 20 pounds on top of the burning old. I set the valve to what I expected 250 to be, and then I went inside and proceeded to fall asleep.
Very early the next morning, the temperature was sitting right at 225, so that's when I decided to cook it that low. When I was finished, there was more charcoal left than when I started, but I don't know how much. I figure the it ran about 26 hours and I cooked for about 16ish hours. Somewhere in the middle, I put in a foil pack with new 'taters, some
Duke's Double D Rub, and some butter. I guess I opened the door about 5 times during the cook, and less than 20 pounds of charcoal.
