Chicken Chaat --- This is my fathers favourite.

2 lb chicken breast and thighs
2 medium sized onions chopped in thin slices
2 tb sp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Cumin seeds 1/4 tea sp
1 tb sp butter / ghee
Chopped cilantro 1/2 cup

In a pot add the chicken pieces along with some water and little salt. Cover and cook till done.

Let it cool. In the meantime heat the butter, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
add onions and lightly saute them. Add salt and pepper. remove from heat.

Now the chicken would be cool enough to shred the meat .
add the shredded chicken pieces to the onions. Mix in the lime juice and garnish with cilantro.

Can be had cold or hot.
