Italian Style Spareribs
1 (8 oz.) bottle of Italian salad dressing
2 Tbsp. vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
crushed red pepper to taste
cayenne pepper to taste
4 pounds spareribs
Combine salad dressing, vinegar, lemon juice, green pepper, onion, and garlic in shallow dish; mix well. Add spareribs, coating well. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Remove spareribs and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper; return to marinade. Marinate for 1 more hour; drain, reserving marinade. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Grill over low heat for several hours or until very tender,
basting with reserved marinade and turning frequently. Yield: 6 servings.
