In the northern hemisphere on the other side of the date line from you, the 19th is Tuesday.

The 19th is tomorrow? Honestly, I won't know what day it really is until I get to work tomorrow and then I'll promptly forget and go back two weeks...

A friend is coming over, I've made a variation of:

CWS' Corn-Potato Shrimp Chowder

I'm making some homemade pita bread and pinto bean hummus as the starter.

She's bringing the wine.

Hey, Beth, good to see you! Your meal sounds great.

I am having more cauliflower soup (glad I made a huge pot of it) as I am still not feeling much like eating.

I made TB Tuna Melts to go with some soup for his main meal and then packed hearty roast beef and salami sandwiches for eating on the road.

I've got some mushroom Swiss chicken in the oven with some herbed rice. We'll have salads too.

I've got a pre-cooked end cut of prime rib thawing. I'm going to make some garlic mashed potatoes to go along with mushroom gravy. Also some green beans.
