Focaccia is not something you make in an afternoon You need to start the biga the day before, to get that great flavor. I made it recently from a Cooks Illustrated recipe and it turned out great. Let me know if you want the recipe.

Do tell! I need the recipe but it didn't happen today anyway. I'm dealing with major pain and don't even think I can stand long enough to concentrate on it.

I'm still going to either make that bread today or go to Macaroni Grill and buy some! I found a lot of basic recipes that don't use a starter which is fortunate. I usually have one in the fridge but don't right now. I'll post a pic elsewhere if/when I actually get off my dead end and make it.
