It was--I did put some of the caper juice in before I tossed everything together and of course there was freshly ground pepper, dressed the pasta with some of the grated cheese, more sliced black olives as well. I like the saltiness of the capers combined with the creaminess of the cheese...I rarely (never?) follow recipes for pasta, I just throw things together and taste. I'm not a big pasta eater--I make a pasta dish about 6-8 times a year, but it was cold, and pasta is a comfort food. And why the orange slices? A serving of fruit.
