German Chocolate Cake Frosting-TNT

German Chocolate Cake Frosting

1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated mik
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mx sugar, evaporated milk, egg yolks and butter. Spray saucepan with Pam and boil above for 12 minutes. Keep stirring during the 12 minutes. Take off burner after 12 minutes are up and add the nuts, coconut and vanilla. Stir till all combined.

This is only frosting I will use for German Chocolate Cake..it is great.

Okay, sounds wonderful... now just need a recipe for German Choc cake... lol

LOL thanks, your icing recipe gave me a huge craving and I've never had german choc cake before... closest I had was german choc blizzard at DQ... hazards of being pregnant i guess...
