Anything special about it? A local market is selling whole briskets for $1.99 lb. I was thinking about throwing one on the stick burner and maybe trying our hand at pastrami.
I'd buy it at that price. I don't think it's special other than St. Patrick's day is over and they won't keep until next year. Stock up.
You could make corned beef. Then make pastrami out of the corned beef. You could also smoke a brisket with a dry rub for BBQ brisket - great sandwiches!
