Broiler burgers

my mother used to make broiler burgers but I don't know how. we lived in Illinois when she was alive. anyone know something about broiler burgers and how to make them?

Is a broiler burger a particular kind of burger or just a burger that has been cooked under a broiler? Sorry if that is a stupid question, but I have never heard of a broiler burger.

Looked through my Illinois cookbook of favorites but I did not find anything. If you can remember anything more about broiler burgers, I'll ask around.

I live in IL and never heard of it.

I did a search but all I found was a burger place in Texas called Broiler Burger. According to their description they char-broil them. I couldn't find any other restaurants or recipes.
