Beef Casserole

Beef Casserole (tnt)

Description:This is even better the next day!

Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lg onion, finely chopped
2 cans (15 oz each) tomatoe sauce
1 Tbl dry basil
1 pkg
linguine noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 pkd (8 oz) cream cheese, softened to room temp
1/2 cup milk
1/2 c sour cream

Directions:
Brown beef. Drain. Add onion & garlic, tomatoe sauce and basil. Cover and simmer 30 mins. Cook Pasta. Put meat into casserole. Top w/noodles. Now add cheddar. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, milk and sour cream til smooth. Spread over cheddar. Bake, covered, 350 oven, for 40 minutes to 1 hour

Number Of Servings:6-8 servings

I was planning to make Tony some cannelloni tomorrow night with just about all of the ingredients in your recipe Pdswife, but now that I see this I'm wondering if I should go get some linguine :) Definately a c&c, many thanks! :)
 
This looks GREAT! I was thinking that I might prefer this dish with a shorter pasta. Maybe some egg noodles. Or good old elbow mac.
