Welcome to DC Miss Betty! Glad you joined up! I don't use a dehydrator very often, but I'm sure there are folks here that do, and will be along after while. In the mean time..look around, and have fun!!

Hi, Betty. Welcome DC. You will find any number of folks here who use a dehydrator. Buck and I have one and don't use as often as we should. However, one of the handiest uses of it is to dry bread cubes for our holiday stuffing and drying baguette to make croutons. And, no surprise, we love making beef jerky in it.

I've also very successfully made dried bell peppers, which are quite costly in the store. It's a nice way to preserve an abundance of peppers if you don't have freezer space.

Now, as part of your "welcome," take a few minutes to browse our forums to familiarize yourself with all we have to offer. We're glad you've found us.
