Which recipe for yellow cake is better?
Recipe 1: 2 cups cake flour
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk
Recipe 2:
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsps baking powder
2 tsps vanilla extract
4 large eggs
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup milk
I tried recipe 1 and the cake didn't turn out good. I didn't try recipe 2 yet. For recipe 1, I used all-purpose flour (with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch per cup of flour) in substitute of cake flour.
