I'm making a crock-pot dinner of pork roast and sauerkraut, so it was quick to throw together. All I added was some caraway seeds and a bit more than a half-bottle of beer. We'll have a bit of mashed potatoes on the side because they're fun for ramming the kraut into!

Are you throwing together, or taking your time?

I'm making chicken nuggets. Not sure what I'll do for the sides. I have some baby red potatoes so I may do something with them. Still have some lettuce and tomatoes so I may throw together a salad.

Threw together some broiled golden trout fillets and a side of broccolini.

I had leftovers from lunch today with family, for dinner. We have a tiny little 5 table mama and papa Mexican restaurant that is SO good - I got one of their enormous burritos - very simply made, just seasoned beef, rice, onions and cilantro, and smothered in chile verde sauce. OMGosh....the best I've ever had.

I love their tacos, too. Shredded beef, onions, and cilantro in two warmed fresh corn tortillas. Very simple...no cheese, lettuce, fried or fake taco shells, or any Americanized fillings.

Although sometimes I do like Taco Bell.
