Way to go, MsM!

Hot and muggy here today, and I HAD to do some outside work. Ugh. Dinner was chilled shrimp cocktail - that stuff is addicting, it hit the spot! Side was a nice cold fruit salad - mango, watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, and purple grapes.

Later on I'll have a bowl of strawberry ice cream with the last few raspberries sprinkled on top.

Tonight's meal was pure summer.

I smoked a rack of pork ribs yesterday in the stovetop smoker and we doused them with barbecue sauce and finished them on the grill outside today. Glenn's son gifted us with tons of fresh corn and a bag of cucumbers from his garden. Those were our sides. We washed it down with iced tea and, for fun, we each had a Klondike bar for dessert.

Stirling grilled some Italian sausage. I made Dragon Lady Sesame Noodles and dug some leftover salad out of the fridge and made a vinaigrette to go with it. Lemon sherbert is in the ice cream maker and being churned now.

We had leftover beefaroni, salads, and watermelon last night. Was too tired to cook anything after my weekend with the grand kids.
