I love this for a summer salad, tasty and cool nice on the tongue and in your mouth. This will serve 4, but can easily be doubled or tripled I'll give the recipe for 4, you get to do the math on the rest:LOL:
peel and slice 2 avocados in half brush with either lemon or lime juice to keep the cado's from turning brown. In a saucepan, combine 1 stick of butter,4 tab. of sugar,4 tab. ketchup, 4 tab. of rice wine vinegar, 4 tea. of say sauce or ponzu, . Bring this mixture to a gentle simmer and cook til sugar dissolves. Place the avocado halves on a bed of lettuce and then sprinkle with crumbled bacon, I use about 6 slices I've cooked and crumbled ahead of time then spoon on the warm sauce of the ketchup, butter etc. Yummy and good. Goes well with grilled meat, poultry, pork or even a pannini. You choose:LOL:
