Had a ball of frozen dough so we had pizza tonight. Pepperoni, bell pepper and red onion.

Pulled an 8-ounce ham steak from the freezer; some skinny green beans, too. Made paprika potato cubes, too, and ended up with a very happy Himself. Pulled out the Christmas plates to make it all festive. That makes me happy.

We had cold smoked salmon on toasted bagels with cream cheese, sliced onion, and capers. We had dill pickles on the side. I do love cold smoked salmon.

 

[Just Cooking]

Ended a 4 day hospital stay with a comfort food stop at a favorite restaurant.

I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Jeannie had a bacon cheeseburger.

Came home to chocolate pudding for dessert.

Hopefully I can cook something tonight.
