Chef Extraordinaire
Norma, this is for you :p so when those ribs are begging to be cooked you can do something other than BBQ!
ITALIAN COUNTRY STYLE RIBS
3 pounds country style ribs
1 can Hunt's Traditional spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup Burgundy or full red (or hearty red - get it?)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Heat the oil in a extra-large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ribs to skillet and brown on all sides. Pour spaghetti sauce over ribs and stir in the wine. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 1 hour. Turn ribs after 1/2 hour of cooking. If the sauce gets too thick, thin it with a little more wine. (can a spaghetti sauce actually get too thick??)
