Hi All
I've read the thread between the All Clad vs Le Creuset. It seems many favor LC. It seems both do excellent jobs as far as cooking (CooksIllustrated.com confirms this). Both are about the same price wise on ebay. I think I'd favor the AC because of the weight factor. Obviously we favor what we already have. Does anyone have both?

What about ease of cleaning?
Has any one tried the 'no knead' artisian bread recipe from NY Times in the AC?

Have room for only one, so I want the one that does everthing!

TIA

The SS might be marginally easier to clean. I don't think you'll go wrong with either. I tend to use the LC for braises and stews but the AC would do just as well. I have an 8-Qt. SS clad pot that I've used for braises with no detectible differences in the end product. Also, you can't chip the enamel coating on a SS pot.

If you are leaning towards AC then go for it. Both are excellent products. I have the LC and love it. Part of what makes it so good is its weight.
