Never having had Cheddar Bay Biscuits ergo no idea the flavour base.
Can anyone give me a hint?

Sounds like a pretty simple and delicious recipe that I'd like to try (reduced of course - not feeding 8 or 12 anymore!)

Here are the ingredients for the copycat biscuits. We love them.

Biscuits:

Bisquick baking mix
cold butter
Cheddar cheese
whole milk
garlic powder
Salt & ground pepper - to taste

Brush on Top:

butter, melted
garlic powder
dried parsley flakes
Pinch salt & ground pepper
