i was going to make pad thai (from a box
. actually, this one brand isn't that bad), but my cold has gotten much worse so that i could barely drag myself out of bed before coming into work tonight.
dw ended up making it, but tried to make it on the healthy side. she is afraid of using my big wok, so she used oil sparingly in a frying pan.
it was ok, but really needed the egg, the wok with more oil, and lacking bean sprouts, i would have added scallions or julienned bok choy to make up for it . still, it was edible and i only had to get up long enough to wolf it down, appreciatively.
