1 15 or 16 oz. can pumpkin (or squash)
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup white or brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 can (12 oz evaporated milk
1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
mix ingredients in order given.
Pour into pastry shell and bake in hot oven 425 degrees for 15 minutes; then reduce temperature to moderate 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
