1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups un-sifted plain flour

6 tablespoons buttermilk
1 box confectioners' sugar (1 pound)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cook butter, cocoa and milk in sauce pan over low heat until bubbly. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until very smooth and spread over cake.
How much does a US stick of butter weigh? I am thinking of making this this weekend, but I am guessing our butter comes in heavier weights!
Thank you Jan! Our standard stick of butter is A LOT bigger, so I was imagining the cake would be deep fried!

Thanks again, DH will love this.
