Hoping this is a proper place for my question.
I have made my own peanut sauces before and they are usually on the hot, spicy side. I also keep some bought ones on hand. Today I was testing some hors d'oeurves as in satay and as one jar was almost empty I opened a new one.
As the colour and texture was so different I quickly dipped my finger in to taste. Imagine my surprise. it was sweet!
Has anyone here had any personal experience with either of these 2 sauces? Is the sweet one typical in some location as to the spicy one? I actually like both. So was just wondering if the sweet one was normal.
