I've seen some variance on this topic, wanted to confirm the approach.
I'm using wood chunks on the flavorizer bars on my weber grill tomorrow to smoke some ribs...do I soak the chunks before hand, and if so, for how long?
At this point I'm leaning towards not soaking - as amazingribs.com puts it - "wood doesn't absorb much water, that's why they make boats out of it."
